School Bus Safety demonstrates, in a very imaginative way, the values of peer support as well as the importance of following safety rules. Children will enjoy listening and singing along to the guidelines which make it safe for them to travel on the school bus.
Busby the bear, an animated character, has trouble remembering. He can’t seem to remember where left his shoes or even what he likes for breakfast. In fact he’s so forgetful, he forgets he forgets.
Fortunately for Busby, his friends Monica the poodle and Opie the opposum are caring and creative enough to invent a new method of remembering for him. They focus on his special talent for singing in which he never forgets a phrase and create a song for him.
“I walk facing traffic obeying all the signs. I’m quiet at the bus stop and I’m always there on time. I always cross in front and never go behind. I steer clear of the danger zone and I get on in a line. I remember all the rules on the school bus. I don’t kick up a fuss on the school bus. It makes me feel so cool cuz I remember all the rules on the school bus!…”
This film helps children develop a positive attitude towards the dos and dont’s of school bus safety.
