Description
When space explorer Zork becomes curious about why Earth people get sick, he learns it’s because of germs — very, very tiny creatures that can get inside the human body. “But then, why aren’t Earth people sick all the time?” he wonders. His question is answered when he sees how the body is able to keep most germs out and how it can destroy germs that do get in. Sometimes, though, a few germs stay alive long enough to start multiplying very rapidly. That causes an infection, which makes people sick. Along with Zork, young viewers learn about contagious diseases and immunization shots, as well as about good health habits that help to prevent germs from infecting the body. This fully animated series features Zork, a space creature with a very inquisitive mind and a talent for getting into humorous situations. Fascinated by human beings, Zork wants to know how people breathe, move and grow. He wants to understand how their hearts work and how they digest their food. Often, his inquisitive nature leads him to wrong conclusions and comical misunderstandings, all of which captivate young audiences and make learning about the human body fun. Produced by Christianson Productions, Inc. A Coronet release.
